声调语言中歌曲旋律和唱词声调的相关性研究一直是语言音乐学研究的重点。文章探讨了当代普通话流行歌曲中唱曲旋律和唱词声调之间的对应关系，主要体现在旋律升降变化与相邻字调间高低差异的对应关系，并分析了影响对应关系的相关因素。研究发现：（1）在旋律升降变化与相邻字调间高低差异的对应关系上，阴平和上声与旋律的相关性最强，阳平次之，而去声与旋律的相关性最弱；（2）曲拱调的升降特性难以在旋律中通过单一音符得以体现，因此对声调和旋律的对应关系存在制约；（3）对比其他声调语言，普通话中曲拱调占比较高，进一步强化了制约性。
