作为备受推崇的奇幻文学大师,尼尔·盖曼以其屡获殊荣的作品推动了奇幻文学的发展。本文通过阈限理论、空间理论并结合鲍德里亚的超真实理论,聚焦其作品《鬼妈妈》,讲述一名青春期女孩卡罗琳探索通往危险异世界之门并伴随其成长与自我发现的故事。本研究通过阈限元素和空间隐喻,探讨其空间建构和超真实呈现,作品中的异世界与现实世界的交织与相互侵越,表现出一种超现实的混乱和复杂性,凸显卡罗琳在面对异世界时的困境与勇气。作为一个处于边缘状态的个体,卡罗琳穿梭于两个虚拟与现实交错的世界之间,通过这一过程,她不仅实现了个人成长,还在不断质疑和探索的过程中寻找自我完整性。这些空间的模糊与重叠使得《鬼妈妈》成为一部典型的超真实文本,赋予了这部奇幻作品全新的解读深度与意义。
