In the context of the vigorous rise of new productive forces, vocational undergraduate education bears the significant responsibility of supplying high-quality applied talents to economic and social development, with its importance becoming increasingly prominent. The shaping and guidance of values among vocational undergraduate students are of great significance. For individuals, this is a critical foundation for their growth and success; at the macro level, it directly relates to whether they can provide high-quality talent support and sustained innovation momentum for the development of new productive forces, profoundly impacting the quality of talent and innovative vitality. Given this, this paper delves into the new requirements that the development of new productive forces imposes on the values of vocational undergraduate students, discusses the prominent issues existing in the process of shaping these values, and explores effective paths and methods for shaping and guiding the values of vocational undergraduate students from the perspective of new productive forces. The aim is to contribute valuable theoretical references to enhancing the overall quality of vocational undergraduate education and cultivating more high-quality talents that meet the demands of the times, thereby helping vocational undergraduate education play a greater role in the journey of new productive forces' development.
