Under the current wave of digital humanities, Chinese traditional aesthetics is often reduced to formal replication. While digital technology continually explores the unknown external world, it struggles to internalize the essence of traditional Chinese aesthetic philosophy. This phenomenon raises a critical question: Does traditional Chinese aesthetics possess a cognitive system irreplaceable by digital technology? Starting with Shitao's "One-Stroke Theory" (“一画论”), this study delves into the aesthetic values embedded in this theory. Through meticulous analysis and interpretation, it seeks to reassess and redefine how traditional aesthetics can guide contemporary art development and cultural reconstruction in the digital age.
