This article delves into the communication practices of new mainstream cinema in constructing a Chinese-style external discourse system, from the perspective of the field construction and presence of Chinese culture embedded within these films. By accurately grasping the characteristics of the cultural field and employing various methods, Chinese civilization has effectively enhanced cultural presence—that is, the influence and penetration of culture within a specific context—thereby boosting cultural soft power and effectively countering the cultural invasion of Western cultural hegemony on developing countries. The dissemination of Chinese stories has continuously elevated this presence. By adhering to the principle of unifying national identity with global relevance, and selecting cultural values that resonate universally—such as the community with a shared future for mankind, peace and harmony, innovation and development—a common emotional field is constructed. This reduces the noise that can occur during the transmission of Chinese culture, enabling effective cultural communication and deep exchange.
