Since the implementation of economic reforms and the initiation of economic openness, the Guangdong Province has undergone a substantial economic expansion, a development that has garnered global attention. This study undertakes a comprehensive analysis of the pivotal production factors contributing to economic growth in Guangdong, namely capital, labor, and technological progress, from the years 2012 to 2022.Utilizing a novel Cobb-Douglas production function, the study employs econometric methods and time series trend analysis to assess the production elasticity of these factors. The findings of this study illuminate the relative impacts of these factors on economic growth and offer a reference point for understanding the drivers of Guangdong's economic growth during this period.
