文章摘要
With the rise of micro-short dramas on short video platforms, more and more creators and viewers are gradually turning their attention to this emerging genre. Among them, "Escape from the British Museum" has achieved phenomenal viewing numbers and popularity on short video platforms, becoming a successful case in traditional culture dissemination. This paper takes three episodes of the drama posted on Douyin as research objects, using NVivo software for qualitative analysis of its comment texts, aiming to explore the specific impact that such micro-short dramas have on audience cultural identity. The study found that through watching this drama, audiences gained a more comprehensive understanding of overseas artifacts in terms of cultural cognition, exhibited high levels of unity and identification in cultural emotions, and generally developed intentions to imitate, participate, and learn about cultural behaviors.
