文章摘要
This paper explores the communication mechanisms and identity formation of Chinese youth subcultures through the lens of new media culture. With the rapid growth of digital platforms such as Weibo, Douyin, and Bilibili, youth subcultures in China have found new spaces for expression and interaction, blending global influences with local cultural practices. By examining the role of social media, digital content creation, and viral marketing, this study investigates how Chinese youth communicate and construct identities within subcultures. The paper draws on theories of subculture, media influence, and identity formation, utilizing case studies of the Hip-Hop movement, cosplay, and gaming communities. Findings highlight the significant impact of new media in both disseminating subcultural trends and shaping youth identities. The paper concludes by discussing the interplay between globalization and localization, the regulatory environment in China, and future trends in subculture formation in a digitalized society.
