Gu Cheng, an outstanding representative of the obscure poetry school in China during the 1980s, distinguished himself in the poetic realm with his unique identity as a "fairy tale poet." This paper delves into the fairy-tale imagery embedded in Gu Cheng's poetry, aiming to explore the unique manifestations, artistic features, and ideological implications of his poetic works.
