The innovative application of national digital technologies—including cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, VR/AR, digital twins, and 5G-driven digital economy—continues to spawn new industries, business models, and engines of growth. This evolution demands increasingly sophisticated skills for professional roles, creating an urgent need for a large number of individuals who possess both technical expertise and manual dexterity. However, vocational colleges face numerous challenges in cultivating such talent, including updating educational philosophies, integrating industry and education, and optimizing program offerings. This study explores pathways for developing Technical & Craftsmanship professionals, particularly focusing on how modern skills and traditional craft values can be organically combined in the transition from old to new growth engines.
