文章摘要
Currently, the development of Hainan Free Trade Port has entered a critical phase of comprehensive customs clearance. Against this backdrop, seizing the historic opportunity presented by Hainan's free trade port development and cultivating comprehensive innovative talents with international vision, cross-border service capabilities, and local innovation spirit has become a practical pursuit for Hainan's private undergraduate institutions. Entrepreneurship education, as a vital vehicle for cultivating students' entrepreneurial spirit and innovation capabilities, faces practical challenges in Hainan's private undergraduate institutions. These include ambiguous course positioning, scarce entrepreneurial resources, and insufficient integration between industry and education. Consequently, it struggles to align with the development needs of the Free Trade Port's “three major leading industries” and tropical specialty agriculture. This paper explores a development path for innovation and entrepreneurship education with distinctive Hainan Free Trade Port characteristics. It integrates the historical opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port with the unique features of private undergraduate institutions, examining five key dimensions: educational philosophy, curriculum systems, faculty development, practical platforms, and support mechanisms. The aim is to provide practical references for private undergraduate institutions in Hainan to enhance talent cultivation quality and better serve regional economic and social development.
