文章摘要
Against the backdrop of profound transformations in global economic and trade environments and China's continuous advancement in opening-up, vocational business English education faces both opportunities and challenges. This paper first clarifies the theoretical framework of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and the essence of professional competence. It identifies three critical issues in current training practices: curriculum gaps with actual job requirements, mismatched teaching methods, and inadequate evaluation systems. Building on ESP theory and the fundamental logic of professional competence, the study advocates constructing a "English Foundation + Business Core + Job Module" curriculum system. This framework incorporates project-driven contextual teaching and a multi-stakeholder collaborative evaluation mechanism to enhance business English reform and competitiveness. The findings aim to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for improving the social adaptability and professional competitiveness of talent cultivation in this field.
