文章摘要
Since the 21st century, the global knowledge economy has accelerated itsdevelopment, and scientific and technological innovation has become the core engine driving economic and social development. Education, as the fundamentalway to cultivate talents, has increasingly highlighted its strategic position. In response to the strategic positioning of supporting Hong Kong in building an "International Innovation and Technology Center" in the "14th Five-Year Plan" ofthe country, and to serve the intrinsic needs of Hong Kong's "reindustrialization" and thedevelopment of "new quality productive forces", the Hong Kong Special Administrative RegionGovernment has focused one of the axes of educational reform on the primary education stageIn the primary and secondary school fields, it actively and systematically promotes STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) education. This is not only an inevitable trend of global educational reform, but also a key measure to reserve innovative talents forHong Kong's future and enhance its core competitiveness. In the primary and secondary school stage, STEAM education goes beyond simpleskills training and, as a deeply integrated teaching concept and model, is profoundly leading multi-dimensional and systematic educational reforms in the curriculum system, teaching methods, teacher training and evaluation mechanisms. This article aims to deeply explore the overall development of STEAM education in Hong Kong primary schools. This framework usually takes the "science"and "technology" learning domains as the core, organically integrating the logical thinking of mathematics education and thedesign thinking of art disciplines, and through hands-on practical activities and the application of advanced digital tools, constructing a multi-level, progressive course and learning ecosystem.Analyzing how the Hong Kong education system implements STEAM education through the two mainstream models of "subject-based vertical deepening" and"topic-based integrated study",it is adapted to local conditions and implemented in both classroom and extracurricular activities.
