Artificial intelligence technology has functions such as language recognition, natural language processing, deep learning, expert systems, and content generation. The application of artificial intelligence technology by management personnel in higher education management can promote the digital and intelligent reform of management work, which is an important measure for universities to achieve sustainable and high-quality development goals in the context of the digital age. In view of this, this article starts with three modules: concept overview, advantage analysis, and path analysis, focusing on exploring the path of digital management of higher education based on the perspective of artificial intelligence. The first module briefly summarizes the concept of digital management of college education; The second module analyzes the advantages of AI enabled digital management of college education to improve the comprehensiveness, pertinence and effectiveness of education management; The third module focuses on exploring the path of digital management of college education in the field of artificial intelligence from four aspects: building a digital system, building an electronic database, building an interactive platform, and building a virtual firewall, hoping to provide a reference for colleges and universities at all levels to deepen digital and intelligent reform.
