Amid deepening global cultural exchanges, the cultivation of translators’ cross-cultural public speaking skills now demands the synergistic integration of value formation and professional development. Centered on the "dual-drive model" of ideological guidance and competency enhancement, this study explores practical approaches to redesigning curricular content, innovating pedagogical methods, and optimizing evaluation systems within the framework of curriculum-based ideological and political education. The proposed model not only aims to enhance students’ capacity to narrate China’s stories with linguistic precision and cultural resonance, thereby strengthening their cultural identity and value discernment, but also seeks to provide actionable insights for cultivating interdisciplinary competencies in translation professionals in the new era.
