Cultivating innovative talents and stimulating their innovative vitality is an important task for higher education institutions in China in the new era. Taking school college students as a sample, this paper explores the role mechanism of teachers' innovative teaching on college students' active innovative behavior based on social cognitive theory, and verifies the chain mediating role of positive thoughts and innovative self-efficacy in this role process. The research hypotheses were verified by 305 data collected through questionnaires, and the results of the study show that teacher teaching innovation has a significant positive effect on active innovative behavior; mindful and innovative self-efficacy play a chain mediating role in the process. By digging deeper into the influence mechanism of teaching innovation on individual innovative behaviors, it provides reference for how to enhance students' active innovative behaviors.
