The sports industry in Liaoning has progressed significantly in recent years,becoming a pivotal part of the region's economy.Nevertheless,the existing development model for this industry awaits innovation to promote its sustainable growth trajectory.This research delves into the innovative development models pertinent to the Liaoning sports industry,as well as analyzes the pathways for its sustainable development.Employing a multidimensional approach that includes SWOT analysis and PESTLE framework,this study evaluates the industry's internal strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,and threats,alongside examining political,economic,social,technological,legal, and environmental factors.A mixed-methods research design was utilized,incorporating both qualitative interviews with industry professionals and quantitative data assessment through surveys distributed to local sports organizations.The findings underscore the necessity for strategic enhancements in the areas of industrial restructuring,diversification of sports services,government policy support,and public-private partnerships.Further,the study identifies key catalysts for innovation and sustainability such as technology integration,grassroots sports development,and internationalization strategies.In conclusion,the research furnishes a comprehensive roadmap to galvanize the Liaoning sports industry towards a more innovative and sustainable future,with recommendations that encapsulate policy reforms,infrastructural improvements,and community engagement initiatives.
