In the context of intelligent manufacturing, the teaching reform of the "PLC Programming Application Technology" course aims to enhance students' practical abilities and engineering literacy to meet the development needs of modern industrial automation. This paper explores the problems in course teaching and proposes a reform plan based on a project-driven and case-oriented teaching model. By optimizing course content, introducing advanced teaching methods, and strengthening school-enterprise cooperation, students' self-learning ability and engineering practice skills are effectively improved. The practical results show that this teaching reform plan can improve teaching quality, enhance students' professional competitiveness, and provide strong support for talent cultivation in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
