Enhancing English writing skills boosts students' overall language competence, as writing reflects both linguistic input and output quality. What’s more, in our globalized world, strong English writing abilities are essential for adolescents' lifelong communication development. Recent educational reforms emphasize emotional factors' role in language learning, aligning with Krashen's Affective Filter Hypothesis about emotional influences on second language acquisition. This study analyzes affective factors in secondary school English writing instruction and explores practical applications of this hypothesis.
