The course"Outline of Modern Chinese History"is a compulsory ideological and political theory course for college students.At present,great progress has been made in the specialized teaching reform of the"Outline of Modern Chinese History"course,but the innovation of teaching mode is endless,and the specialized teaching reform still needs to be further deepened.Based on this,this article mainly introduces the thematic teaching method,analyzes the important value of its application in the teaching of the"Outline of Modern and Contemporary Chinese History"course,analyzes the problems existing in current teaching work in combination with teaching practice,explores optimization strategies for improving teaching quality in future teaching work,and enhances the overall and systematic nature of thematic teaching.
