With the rapid development of China’s economy and the further reform of the new curriculum,the society needs highly specialized application-oriented English talents.Therefore,people have attached great importance to the teaching of higher vocational English courses.This paper mainly analyzes the existing problems in higher vocational college English teaching,and puts forward some employment-oriented higher vocational college English teaching innovation strategies in order to provide references for improving the quality of higher vocational college English teaching and cultivating application-oriented talents who meet the needs of society.
