This study aims to explore the current status of English teaching competence among minority student teachers and propose effective improvement strategies.The research subjects are a group of minority student teachers at X School,using methods such as questionnaire surveys,in-depth interviews,and classroom observations to collect rich data.The study found that minority student teachers face numerous challenges in English teaching,including language barriers,insufficient teaching resources,and cultural differences.In response to these issues,this paper proposes specific measures,such as strengthening teacher training,optimizing the curriculum settings,and improving the availability of teaching resources.The findings of this study have important practical implications for enhancing the English teaching competence of minority student teachers.
