At present, the digital transformation of education has become a new strategy for China's education reform and development, especially in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which put forward new requirements for promoting the digital transformation of the education industry. It is even more necessary to fully play the role of teachers, strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure and the development of information resources as prerequisites, and further assist in realizing the transformation of teachers' roles. This article mainly introduces the background of educational digital transformation, summarizes the important value of teacher role transformation under the background of educational digital transformation, analyzes the main problems faced in the current transformation process, and explores optimization strategies to assist teachers in transformation in the future, for reference.
