The rapid development of digital technology is profoundly changing various fields, and sports curriculum is no exception. Through digital empowerment, high-quality development of sports curriculum can be promoted, achieving more efficient and comprehensive teaching objectives. The high-quality development of sports curriculum through digital empowerment is not only an effective way to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement but also an important symbol of educational modernization. The application of digital technology allows sports curriculum to better meet the personalized needs of students and promote their overall development. This study aims to explore the practical value, internal requirements, and promotion pathways of digital empowerment in sports curriculum. It analyzes the specific applications of digital empowerment in physical education, reveals its positive impacts on improving teaching quality, enriching teaching forms, and enhancing student experience; discusses the internal requirements needed to achieve this goal, such as teacher quality, curriculum design, and educational environment; and proposes feasible promotion pathways to provide references for relevant educators, contribute wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of physical education, and help students grow comprehensively in a healthy and joyful environment.
