配子(哺乳动物的精子和卵子)的产生涉及两次连续的细胞分裂,即减数分裂 I 和减数分裂 II。在减数分裂 I 中,同源染色体分离到不同的子细胞,减数分裂 II 类似于有丝分裂,姐妹染色单体分开。虽然原则上男性和女性的过程是相同的,但时间范围和对染色体缺陷的易感性(包括失染色体和内聚力减弱)以及对错误分离染色体的反应却不同。在这篇综述中,我们比较和对比了两种性别的减数分裂纺锤体组装检查点功能和非整倍性。
