新时代以来,英语已成为国际通用语,用英语这门语言传播中国声音,展现中国形象尤为重要。然而,在外语教育中存在的普遍现象是强调读,写能力,而忽视了学生听,说能力的培养,这种中国式英语教学造成了当代学生的通病“哑巴英语”。本研究以积极心理学为理论框架,对自贡市某大学150名英语专业的学生的口语焦虑水平以及学业浮力水平进行了调查。同时,探讨了这两者之间存在的联系,并采用定量研究手段进行了详细的描述与剖析。研究结果表明,口语焦虑与学业浮力都处于中等水平,口语焦虑与学业浮力呈显著负相关。
