CMTM4是CMTM基因家族中的一员，是新发现的一种抑癌基因。研究表明，CMTM4在多数肿瘤组织中表达下调，CMTM4的功能主要体现在其可以保护程序性死亡受体１（PD-L1），产生间接调节机体免疫细胞的功能，从而实现免疫逃逸；其次，CMTM4的表达水平对细胞增殖能力具有明显的影响，可加快肿瘤细胞增殖、侵袭与迁移，由此可以推断CMTM4可能是参与细胞生长和细胞周期调控的重要基因。因此，深入研究其在肿瘤发生发展中的作用及分子机制，对肿瘤的治疗及预后具有重要价值。本文将对CMTM4的结构、功能及其在肿瘤中的研究进展作一综述。
